Privacy notice

This notice explains what information Visual Engine collects through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to visitors.

Information collected

Visual Engine may collect the following categories of information:

  • Website and device data: page viewed, referrer, campaign parameters, general device and browser information, approximate region, engagement, and interaction events.
  • Visual Audit data: the options selected in the diagnostic and the result produced.
  • Information submitted voluntarily: an email address when a visitor asks to receive the expanded audit plan or related follow-up.
  • Checkout and purchase data: campaign attribution, transaction identifier, product, value, and currency returned by Gumroad. Buyer email addresses are not written to Visual Engine Worker logs.
  • Security data: request metadata needed to operate the site, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and protect the service.

How the information is used

  • to operate, secure, and improve the website;
  • to return and, when requested, deliver a Visual Audit plan;
  • to contact a visitor who asked for the expanded audit plan, and to send occasional related Visual Engine guidance;
  • to measure which pages, campaigns, quiz results, and resources lead to useful engagement or purchases;
  • to attribute Gumroad purchases without placing buyer email addresses in Worker logs;
  • to answer support, privacy, or purchase questions.

Service providers

Visual Engine uses service providers to run the site and transactions. Depending on configuration and visitor location, these may include:

  • Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, security, and Worker execution;
  • Google Analytics for website and conversion measurement;
  • Microsoft Clarity for interaction analytics and session diagnostics;
  • Gumroad for checkout, payment, product delivery, and purchase records;

Visual Audit email submissions are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database operated for Visual Engine. They are not passed to a third-party CRM, automation platform, or email provider. If that changes, this notice is updated before the change takes effect.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. A provider may be changed as the operating stack changes.

Cookies and similar technologies

Analytics and checkout attribution may use cookies, local storage, URL parameters, or similar technologies. Browser settings and regional consent controls can limit some collection. Blocking analytics does not prevent access to the public resources or the on-page Visual Audit result.

Email choices

The audit result is shown on the page without requiring an email address. Submitting an email adds it to a stored list so the expanded plan can be sent when it is published; no sequence is being sent at present. Any marketing message sent later includes an unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribing does not affect purchase receipts or necessary support messages sent by a transaction provider.

Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including delivery, measurement, security, accounting, support, and legal obligations. Retention periods may differ across service providers and configured accounts.

Sharing and sale

Visual Engine does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the service providers described above, when required by law, to protect the service or users, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Depending on location, a visitor may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. A visitor can also unsubscribe from email and can use browser controls to limit cookies or tracking.

For a privacy request, use the seller contact or support option on the Visual Engine Gumroad storefront. Include enough information to identify the relevant submission without sending sensitive documents in the first message.

Children

Visual Engine is a business product and is not directed to children. The site does not knowingly request personal information from children.

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's country. Their contractual and legal safeguards govern those transfers.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the website, providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top will be revised when a material update is published.
